Lane County Waste Management

Lane County Waste Management Division is accepting applications for Extra Help Fee Collectors at Glenwood Transfer Station. This position is on-call and cannot work more than 520 hours in a fiscal year (July 1 through June 30). Must be 18 years of age or over. Typical training is 20-40 hours for two weeks, then on-call as needed (we may call you on any day, but Saturdays are most needed as all of our sites are open). Cash handling and/or customer service experience preferred, but not required.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

MED-Project

MED-Project is issuing Lowell City Hall Unwanted Medicine Mail-Back Envelopes to be distributed to residents upon request.  These 'Unwanted Medicine Mail-Back Envelopes' are to be used for unwanted and/or expired medicine from residents and contain instructions on a paper insert within each envelope. 

Unwanted Medicine Mail-Back Envelopes cannot be used for pre-filled injector products or inhalers.

NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL VACANCY 
The City of Lowell is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Lowell City Council for Position No. 3. The term of office will begin immediately upon appointment and expire after the November 2022 election.  
Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the City of Lowell for at least 12 months prior to appointment. 
To apply: Send a completed and signed “Volunteer Boards & Commission Application” in person or by mail to City of Lowell, Attn: City Administrator, PO Box 490, Lowell, OR 97452. The application is available at City Hall or on the city website at the following link (scroll down to the bottom): <https://www.ci.lowell.or.us/forms>. 
Closing date: All applications must be received by 4:00 pm on Thursday, August 26, 2021. Applications received after that time will not be considered. (Postmark is NOT acceptable.)
