Notice of Budget Committee Meeting and State Revenue Sharing Public Hearing

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of Lowell, Lane County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020, will be held at 70 North Pioneer Street, Lowell, OR 97452. The meeting will take place on April 29, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after April 22, 2019 at Lowell City Hall, 107 East Third Street, Lowell, OR 97452 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. or on the City’s website at www.ci.lowell.or.us.

At this meeting, the Budget Committee will also conduct a public hearing regarding the use of State Revenue Sharing Funds. Citizens are invited to recommend uses for State Revenue Sharing Funds distributed by the State of Oregon to the City of Lowell for fiscal year July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020.
