Community Events
Become a part of our community, if only briefly, by experiencing one of our great community events:
Dexter Lake has been ranked as a top 10 venue in the country for the sport of rowing. In April, the community hosts one of the largest regattas in the Pacific Northwest, bringing collegiate and master's teams from Florida to Washington. The event is organized by the Oregon Association of Rowers.
Columbia Drag Boat Association Races
The Columbia Drag Boat Association (CDBA) is the premier racing association in the Pacific Northwest. The organization hosts three races on Dexter Lake each summer and prides itself in offering a wide variety of class competition in a safe, fun and family-oriented atmosphere. The CDBA is a division of the Lucas Oil Drag Boat Racing Series.
Mark your calendar for the Blackberry Jam Festival. Come to Rolling Rock Park in Downtown Lowell and enjoy great music, unique crafts, delicious food and more. The Festival is a great way to top off a summer weekend trip. Bring your appetite and a spare shirt — you don't want to miss the pie eating contest!
