LANE COUNTY FAIR

HAVE A BLAST WORKING FOR THE LANE COUNTY FAIR!
The Fair arrives July 19, 2023 - July 23, 2023!

The Lane County Fair is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team for the upcoming fair! As a fair worker, you will have the opportunity to interact with the public, work in a fast-paced environment, and help make the fair a success. We offer competitive pay at $15.00/hour and a fun work environment. 

Ticket Sellers - Ticket Takers:
As a ticket seller or taker, you will sell and scan tickets at the Lane County Fair admission gates. You will need to be able to receive cash and return correct change, process credit/debit card transactions, and use electronic scanners (training will be provided). 

Work requirements are a 6-hour minimum or all-day shifts available. 

Concert Ushers: 
As a concert usher, you will greet and scan guests into the concerts each night of the fair. You will need to be able to use an electronic scanner (training will be provided). 

Work requirements are 4 hours per night of the fair. 

Fair Operations:
As a fair operations worker, you will help set up, maintain, and keep the fair sparkling while it is in full swing. You will help with setting up equipment, garbage pickup, barn maintenance, janitorial work, and more. 

Work requirements are day and night shifts available, and hours and schedules may vary. 

These roles may offer hours for multiple weeks leading up to and after the fair. 

Fair Office Support:
As a fair office support worker, you will provide office support with general clerical duties, greeting customers, answering phones, taking messages, making copies, and more. 

Work requirements are day shift available, and hours and schedules may vary. 

These roles may offer hours for multiple weeks leading up to and after the fair. 

Job Duration: 
Total job duration is anywhere from 1-3 weeks, between the time period of July 10 and July 31, 2023. Jobs last for the duration of the fair and may include fair set-up and tear-down duties.

     * This position is budgeted for maximum of 520 hours during the fiscal year.

Training & Experience:

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 

Minimum Requirements include: 

Being a friendly, upbeat, and tech-savvy individual who likes to work in a fun and fast-paced environment. 

You must be able to interact professionally with the public, co-workers, and county officials. 

You must be hardworking, positive, and willing to help in all areas. 

Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.
