City Council Work Session on Lookout Point Dam Drawdown

The City Council will hold a work session at 6:00 pm on February 29. The purpose of this session is to share information with the public on the Lookout Point dam drawdown operation. Topics of discussion include why the dam drawdown is occurring, the long-term plan and impact of drawdown operations, and the safety and quality of the city’s drinking water during drawdown operations. Following presentations by the US Army Corps of Engineers and Lowell Public Works Department, members of the public will have an opportunity to ask questions.
